How to use Help Me Choose
Describe two to six options and what matters most to you, and Jev ranks them by your own criteria, says how likely you would regret each, and whether they differ much at all. Companies, cars, schools, plans. Free.

FAQ
How does it rank them?
Your criteria and the options’ descriptions go to Jev (jev-1.13.0), which picks one and gives each option a probability; it is then asked, for each, whether you would regret it a year on, and whether the options differ much at all. The options are shuffled every round and the five rounds averaged, so the first-listed option gains nothing from its place.
Does Jev know these companies, cars or schools?
No. It sees only what is in your descriptions. A strength you leave out is not there.
What does “differ little” mean?
Jev is asked separately whether the options differ little. A high probability means that by your criteria any of them will do, and there is nothing left to agonise over.
Is what I enter stored?
No. What you enter is sent through the ToolMelo server to TypeSafe’s Jev API to be judged and is not written to a database or a log afterwards. Every judgment needs a Cloudflare Turnstile human check, and one IP address can run 3 a minute.
How many options, and how long a description?
Two to six. Each description holds the facts that bear on your criteria, up to 300 characters; length is up to you.
