Can I keep playing after 2048?
Yes. A message tells you when you make 2048, and the game goes on until the board is full with nothing left to merge.
Is undo limited?
You can undo up to the last 100 moves. Where a new tile appears, and whether it is a 2 or a 4, comes from the game’s random seed, so undoing a move and making it again brings the same tile.
Is my game saved?
Yes. Each board size keeps one game in progress in this browser, so you can close the page and carry on later; best scores are kept per size too. Private windows and cleared browser data start empty.
Do I need an account or a connection?
No. The game runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
