- Any card goes on a card one rank higher, whatever its suit, but only a run of one suit moves as a whole. When you run out of moves, deal a row from the stock (five times in all); you can’t deal while a column is empty.
- A run of one suit from king to ace leaves the table by itself; complete eight to win.
FAQ
What is the difference between 1, 2 and 4 suits?
All use 104 cards. With one suit every card is a spade and nearly every game can be solved; two suits mix spades and hearts; four suits are two full decks, where runs of one suit are hardest to build.
Why can’t I deal sometimes?
The stock can’t be dealt while a column is empty, as in the classic game. Put a card or a run in the empty column first.
Can every game be won?
No, especially with four suits: some deals cannot be solved. Hints and undo help you try other lines.
Is my game saved?
Yes. The game in progress and your best time for each number of suits stay in this browser, so you can close the page and carry on later.
