How to use Crop & Resize Images
Resize images by pixels or percent. When the ratio changes, fit with borders or crop to fill. Common sizes, batches, free and no upload.

- JPG, PNG or WebP images (each up to 20 MB, 24 megapixels and 8,000 pixels per side); batches of up to 20 images and 100 MB in total

- Images at the pixel size you set (same format as the original by default, or JPG / PNG / WebP), or a ZIP

- Processed in your browser; your input is not uploaded
- Choose an image; switch to batch mode to process several at once.
- Enter a width and height in pixels (fill in just one to scale proportionally) or scale by percentage; if you enter both and the ratio differs, choose between keeping the whole image (with borders) and cropping to fill.
- Use the zoom and position sliders to adjust the framing, then check the pixel size after processing and download.
FAQ
Will entering only the width distort the image?
No. If you fill in only the width or the height, the other side is calculated from the original ratio. If you fill in both and the ratio differs from the original, you can keep the whole image (with borders in transparent, white or black) or crop to fill (with an adjustable crop position); the image is never stretched.
Does enlarging an image make it sharper?
No. Enlarging only adds pixels; it cannot create detail that isn’t there. Making an image smaller usually reduces the file size as well. Output is limited to 8,000 pixels per side and 24 megapixels in total.
What if I also need a file size limit, or an ID photo?
After resizing, pass the image on to compression to get it under a target KB. For passport and ID photos, use the ID Photo Maker, which also limits the KB and lays out prints.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Decoding, processing and exporting all happen in your current browser; after closing the page you need to choose the files again. JPG, PNG and WebP are supported; convert iPhone HEIC photos with HEIC to JPG first. GIF and SVG are not supported yet.
